Abstract:
The collection includes material on and by both Sarah Fell-Yellin and her husband Mendel. There are newspaper clippings, many of which deal with labor issues, literary manuscripts, correspondence and memorabilia. There are also family documents such as membership cards, photographs, a death certificate, and a marriage license.

Abstract:
The Mary Borland Thayer Fox papers consist chiefly of Fox's own writings, written under the pseudonym, "Mary Borland." The collection includes poetry, short stories and essays, ballet libretti, and a diary detailing a visit in 1936 to the Soviet Union. In addition, the collection contains several scrapbooks; commonplace books; sheet music, written for her or simply given to her as a gift; news clippings and copies of literary journals in which her work appeared; and finally, correspondence, either addressed to her in response to some of her published writings, or written in regard to the publication of a posthumous volume of her work.

This collection contains correspondence (letters, notes, note cards, postcards, off prints of literary reviews and publisher's announcements), photographs of the author, and typescript writings of short stories, poems, an academic essay, and a draft of the novel "Shamp of the city-solo" that Jaimy Gordon sent to and was collected by Laurence Eldredge and his wife, Betty Eldredge. Laurence Eldredge was a professor of English at Antioch College when Jaimy Gordon was and undergraduate at the college.
